In her most recent role, Vera served as a Project Manager for Affordable Housing at a city government, where she successfully managed 500 units of affordable housing from conception to construction, including administration of the jurisdiction's Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for affordable housing funds, and played an integral part in the loan closing process for affordable housing developments.
Throughout her career, Vera has demonstrated her ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. She has prepared staff reports and delivered presentations to various committees and governing bodies, including the NOFA Review Committee, Planning Commission and City Council.
