Troy ReinhalterPrincipal Planner / Planning ManagerTroy Reinhalter is an accomplished land use planner and urban designer with over 15 years of experience in California and the Bay Area. Since 2010, Troy has worked extensively on General Plans, Specific and Precise Plans, Master Plans, corridor and neighborhood area plans, Objective Design Standards, Design Reviews, and other similar cutting-edge planning and design efforts. His projects have won multiple awards from the Northern Chapter, State, and National APA. He brings expertise in long-term planning, policy development, zoning integration, growth projections, GIS analysis, illustrative graphics, community engagement, and plan implementation.
Troy has experience in both the public and private sectors, having worked for the City of Berkeley and Oakland. His skills include project management, plan layout and policy drafting, project design review, an in-depth understanding of zoning and form-based codes, deep familiarity with the LEED-ND rating system, and facilitation of public meetings & hearings. He has been involved in all aspects of the planning process, with a specialization in long-range comprehensive plans and district-scale urban design. Troy's recent professional work has focused on the successful adoption and implementation of visionary comprehensive plans, development of innovative area revitalization plans, and transformations of urban corridors throughout California, with a particular emphasis on navigating the challenging planning landscape of the greater Bay Area. Prior to coming to Good City, Troy worked for Raimi + Associates as a Senior Associate for 12 years.
