Housing Element Update - Pacifica

Good City served as the prime consultant, project manager, and technical lead on the update of the City of Pacifica’s certified Housing Element.
Site inventory analysis included site identification, suitability assessment, and capacity determination. Good City also analyzed constraints to housing development and fair housing issues and drafted programs to promote housing development, preserve existing stock, and further fair housing goals. Coordination with the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) included maintaining communication and revising the draft following multiple rounds of comments. The Housing Element was certified by HCD in 2025. Good City subsequently assisted Pacifica with implementation of a comprehensive rezoning program, completion of Annual Progress Reports, a housing element implementation plan, and other implementation activities. |
