Housing Services and BMR Administration - Los Altos

The City of Los Altos has contracted with Good City to perform administrative duties related to the oversight, compliance, sales, and rental of the City’s affordable housing units, including but not limited to:

• Assisting in developing marketing, advertising, and outreach materials for below-market-rate (BMR) units as needed
• Providing guidance and advice on procedures related to the transfer of affordable housing units
  
• Preparing the City’s Prohousing Incentive Program
  

​Additionally, Good City partnered with HousingINC to provide the City with BMR administration services. This included assisting the City’s transition from one provider to HousingINC within a condensed timeframe. Services include:

• Performing administration, management, tracking, and reporting tasks for all deed-restricted and loan programs/projects
  
• Managing interest and waiting lists
  
• Underwriting applicants for program eligibility and approvals
  
• Preparing program reports
  
• Conducting homebuyer BMR application workshops
